Shawn P Diddy Combs Sean P Diddy Combs known for his money music parties and his rap posse P Diddy was born on November 4 1969 in his hometown of Harlem P Diddy later moved to Mt Vernon because his father had past away and his mother wanted to get away from the rough scene P Diddy grew up in a single parent home with his mother Janice Combs She worked three jobs and still maintained to take care of her children As Shawn grew older he started going to school and working Shawn attended Mount Vernon High School and later went to Howard University Shawn got his real education after signing up for internship at Uptown Entertainment Its there where he met the famous Andre Harrell President of Bad Boy Records After meeting Andre PDiddy started going back and forth from Washington to New York He proved to be dedicated to his work therefore he was moved up to a Director at the age of 19 In 1991 He started producing music for well known artist such as Mary J Blige Jodeci etc He continued making music with Uptown artist until 1993 In 1993 P Diddy left Uptown records and started his own company known as BAD BOY ENTERTAINMENT To begin with he only had two artist officially on the label Craig Mack and his good friend Notorious BIG The Company got its first big break with Biggies album Ready to Die This break got the company a lot of respect and praise P Diddy was looked upon as a powerful producer arranger and CEO who had an ear for great talent Later on P Diddy started doing music with people such as Mariah Carey TLC LIL Kim Usher etc Since Combs Collaborated with this fine group of artist it allowed his company to take off well with a large amount of money pocketed due to previous
