Angela's feedback:
"You provide an informative and engaging summary of Faulkner’s life, but your in-depth review of two of his short stories in the latter half of the paper comes as a surprise to the reader. Adding a detailed thesis statement to your introduction would help the reader understand the scope of your essay and its overall structure. In terms of writing conventions, the titles of books and newspapers should be italicized, and review is needed to fix typos such as the use of “hat” instead of “what.” When referring to decades such as the 1930s, no apostrophe should appear between the number 0 and the letter “s.” Meanwhile, your essay would look more polished if you consistently formatted all apostrophes and quotation marks in curly instead of straight style. If possible, you should avoid including back-to-back quotations from outside sources with none of your own analysis in between since this leaves the reader with the impression that you’re relying too heavily on others to explain a given topic or point for you."
