When I meet a new person I form an opinion of that person off first glance The thing I forget is appearance can sometimes be deceiving The way a person dresses the way they have their hair and ever their body style does not necessarily determine the type of person they are First of all when a person initially meets someone they see what the person is wearing If someone meets a thirteen year old girl wearing a short skirt and a tight shirt they may jump to the conclusion she is boy crazy Yet the girl may be a straight A student who has never thought about boys Another example would be meeting a man wearing a suit He can be perceived as a business man but in reality this man may be a con artist dressing that way just to get someones money yet people trust him because they are deceived by how he appears Then someone may come across a person wearing sweat pants a torn tee shirt and a pair of dirty shoes Instinct may say this person is a bum but in all actuality they are a rich business owner who was just doing work in the yard on this specific day Another example of how someones appearance may be deceiving is the persons body build If I were to meets a tall muscular guy I might think he is mean and intimidating Then after getting to know him I discover he is a nice person who would never hurt anyone Someone may meet a girl who is rather small and assume she is a wimp who cant take care of herself physically The girl may be a black belt or have special martial arts training and she is still perceived as a push over due to her size Someone who is overweight might be looked at as being lazy This person can be a hard
