Lord of the Flies is a novel which I had been reading in the class with Mr Ernest This novel is not interesting for me when I first saw the cover but actually the novel is really nice The characters the plot the settings the themes the symbolisms and everything in the book were amazing This novel was about a group of British boys who stays on a deserted island because the plane that was carrying them was crashes on the island In the beginning of the book those boys were trying to survive on the island They had made their own laws and orders They also tried to do everything as much as they can so they could still have hope of being rescued At the end of the book the boys were starting to act like animals They were hunting each other and didnt care about being rescued and the laws and orders One of the main antagonists in this novel Lord of the Flies from William Golding is jack Merridew Jack is a round and dynamic character He seems to be brave Jack was the oldest boy on the island so he seemed to be very strong and brave Actually Jack wasnt brave or strong he just acted like he did Jack is the antithesis of Ralph which is one of the main protagonists in the novel Jack has many different sides in his personality The author has given enough information to support that jack is a round and dynamic characterJack Merridew is a round character because I could see many different sides of his personality In the novel Jack seems to be brave but sometimes he is not The first example is in chapter one page 31 the second paragraph They knew very well why he hadnt because of the enormity of the knife descending and cutting into living flesh because of the unbearable blood This scene in
