Even though physically the location and students stay the same emotionally the school environment changes drastically depending on the time of day A large aspect of high school involves social skills and events Teenagers develop new social skills throughout their high school career in which they have to decide where to use these skills Most students are more reserved while in class during the day Some students feel that the classroom is not a place to talk and joke around and they do not feel as comfortable with a teacher as they do with their friends As many people learn teenagers are as unpredictable as the lottery At night outside of school students are more authentic teens tend to be themselves and not hold back Teenagers are more comfortable with their friends because all of their friends know who they are On the other hand the student may not know all the other pupils in the class so they have to hold back their true personality Additionally during the day students are respectful Adults make teenagers nervous which in turn forces them to watch what they say think twice about their actions and become shy Not every student acts perfectly but they act more civil than they are outside of the classroom Once the last bell of the day rings the filter on students mouths disappear Teenagers are unrefined and in some cases crude at night For example at football games students yell disparaging remarks to the other teams players and fans that they would never say in school Since they cannot get in trouble students do not think twice about their actions or comments Furthermore getting good grades consumes almost every students mind while in school Students are focused on their work and do not think about other activities while learning Because students are in school for about six hours a day they get anxious and bleary when students get out of school they
