Would you want your children to play a video game where they can do many activities like robbing banks steal cars injuring people on the streets attend strip clubs do a number of drugs and get drunk To most parents this may sound like a game they would want to keep away from their children Why keep your child away from things that they may see or already have seen Children of any age should be allowed to play Grand Theft Auto VThe game does not teach children anything useful Many parents would claim that Grand Theft Auto V teaches children nothing useful Playing Grand Theft Auto does have its benefits though Throughout the game children are asked to follow a series of directions that will allow them to advance forward in the game Grand Theft Auto V also improves a childs hand-eye coordination Gamers cant take time to look at the television screen down to the gaming controller then back up to the television They have to be able to react instantly as events occur in the game Grand Theft Auto teaches children violence Many parents fear that allowing their children to play Grand Theft Auto V will teach them violence Although the game does involve some violent actions its something that most children have heard about mimicked or even witnessed Kristin Bezio of the Christian Science Monitor said While I applaud parents in supervising their childrens behaviors and pastimes a child playing a violent video game does not necessarily increase the likelihood that he or she will engage in real violence at that age or late in life One place where children might witness violence is by watching the news The news broadcasts shooting robberies and many other violent things that happen in the world The games release has provoked fresh debate about the effect of violent games on children Some research claims to have found a link with violent behavior
