Ku Klux Klan What is the Klan The Knights of the Ku Klux Klan is a fraternal patriotic movement promoting the ideals of Western Christian Civilization and White Racial political self-determination It is not merely a social association but a dynamic crusading White movement of world-historical perspective seeking the establishment of White Christian Political Self Determination It is working to rebuild our collapsing society on the principles of Christian honor honesty duty courage brotherhood and patriotism The Klan is sometimes referred to as the Invisible Empire because it is an entirely new community in itself As the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan strives toward the ideals it wants for tomorrow it lives by those today The Klan Stands For The White Race The irreplaceable hub of our Nation our Christian faith and the high levels of Western culture and technology America First First before any foreign or alien influence or interest and a foreign policy of military non-intervention The Constitution As originally written and intended The finest system of government ever conceived by man which is based on the Holy Bible and Christian Common Law Free Enterprise Private property and ownership of business but an end to high-finance exploitation We advocate economic nationalism and we oppose the Federal Reserve bank and so-called free trade Positive Christianity The right of the American people to practice their Christian faith - including prayer in schools Many Klan members and supporters are involved with the growing Christian Identity religion which continues to unite the Christian Patriot Movement in the United States Supplemental Information The Klan was founded in 1915 in Georgia but grew in the 1920s calling the 20s the beginning of the 2nd era Most of their popularity came from association with religious and patriotic institutions By 1924 membership had reached somewhere between 2 and 4 million While the Klan was in power the marched openly and defiantly down streets
