"I enjoyed reading this essay. You make good use of details to create a portrait of the man, and it was interesting to see that there was interaction as well. I'd be curious if you can push that final thought about getting a lot "without actually knowing it"--can this be grounded in an emotion, memory, or association, or perhaps in a concept or theory that is relevant to your course?

The other area I recommend focusing on are the lower-order concerns. I notice most of the errors or typos show up toward the end, so make sure you use a thorough proofread across the whole piece."
