"You are off to a good start, introducing the reader to Shaara's work in an engaging way that demonstrates your work with the text; the use of direct quotations ensures the reader gets to experience the novel while also providing evidence for the various claims and assessments.

As you move toward a final draft, one element to work with will be signal phrases. "As Shaara has Lee say" (in the conclusion) is an excellent signal phrase that clarifies the speaker and the author's role in the dialogue; use this as a model to make sure all quotations are integrated into the text (such as the first quote from what appears to be Shaara's introduction) via a signal phrase or similar that expresses your control over the text.

Other areas to focus on include introducing the novel by its full title in the first paragraph and proofreading to catch occasional errors that, though minor, can echo beyond that moment and impact ethos and clarity. The first sentence is not a complete sentence, though this may be for effect -- make sure such choices are purposeful. Watch out for precision of language, and adjust word choice for clarity and effective communication with the reader (e.g., "repulsing" in paragraph 2)."
