Bridget's feedback:
"I enjoyed this unique approach to writing about the time period and culture. You make good use of detailed and specific examples, showing both your knowledge and your enthusiasm. The use of a personal voice is effectively balanced by a formal writing style. Some proofreading will help catch some awkward diction and other local issues. I also notice opportunities to work with style and expression for more efficiency or clarity. To give one example, consider this revision: "First on my to-do list would be the works of art produced during the time period. Second would be to witness the age's architectural wonders. Last..."; as you can see, we've used simple trims or reorganizations of the sentence structure (and corrected a few errors) to streamline the writing for improved flow and a more assertive style. A few other corrections to attend to will be italicizing the titles of works and bringing the page formatting (line spacing, paragraph formatting) into alignment with the style guide.
As a brief final note, I appreciated the paragraph on reservations but was surprised that you didn't explore the music of the time period. Consider building that paragraph out to match the depth of research and cultural detail present in the other body paragraphs."
