A Dynamic Person In the epic The Odyssey by Homer Telemachus plays a boy in desperate search of his father He faces the fact that his mother must re-marry another man This disturbs Telemachus since he feels none of the suitors are worthy of his mothers love This re-marriage both provokes and enrages him It instills a more mature Telemachus with a more conscientious demeanor This helps Telechamus to become a more determined individual Furthermore these transformations make Telechamus a more dynamic and interesting character because they slowly come to fruition enticing the reader to continue the reading Telemachuss first change is his growth to maturity He starts as a boy who has never killed before This changes when he comes to the defense of his father In this situation he is not only forced to kill one man but many like said here Odysseus Telemachus and two faithful servants kill every suitorHomer 1231-1233 This shows that Telemachus did indeed kill the suitors inside his home when his father needed to rid his unwanted guests This is something he would have never attempted to do in the past Thus this event makes him stronger and a more dynamic character Converting him slowly and painfully from a boy to a man Secondly having no father around had made him more mature It made Telemachuss stronger because he had to take care of his mother as well as himself This is not easy for any person but especially difficult for a young man reaching adulthood Telemachus shows his determination when he sets out to find his father He portrays a young man whom is very strong willed and will not stop until he has closure Thus his determination leads him to react which changes from him being more laid back in the beginning of the story to wanting answers to the
