As I uncoordinatedly reached to silence my alarm I knew that this day would be different from any other This indescribable feeling overcame me as if some spirit was trying to reach out to me advising me to take advantage of this day I wasnt sure exactly what I was going to do but I knew for sure I was going to have the time of my life with my friends After a few short moments of thinking I decided to call my two friends in search of approval for my planned out journey to the mountains We began our trip an after hours of driving we neared our favorite ski spot Christmas was rapidly approaching so undoubtedly the path up to the resort was decorated in Christmas lights and magnificent decorations relating to Santa Claus Although we were driving rather quickly the anticipation of snowboarding led me fixated at the end of the trail and it seemed we were traveling increasingly slower and slower Once we arrived it became apparent that myself along with my two comrades were the only people present throughout the entire mountain It was the kind of setting which can only exists within the depths of your imagination The vibrant sun reflected beautifully off the powder thus creating a heaven like atmosphere I raced up the small hill of ice to be the first in line for the chair lift We all quickly strapped on our snowboards and jumped onto the lift The chair steadily swayed back and forth as it slowly traveled to the top of the mountain The scenic expedition was quickly over and we prepared to jump off the chair Through seemingly endless anticipation the moment finally came We began to glide down the mountain slowly gathering speed and weaving through the snow With each turn snow scattered from the end of my board through the frosty air It was at that moment when for the
