If I had lived in the time of the presidential election of 1824 and 1828 I would definitely have voted for Andrew Jackson Yes there were other presidents but Old Hickory Jackson was the best man for the jobHe didnt have the best life growing up He wasnt rich but thats what makes him the better president Jackson didnt have those wealthy and prominent morals Therefore he was more of a peoples man He didnt care if you had money Money doesnt depict if a person is best to suit the job that is being done He cared about everyones opinions whether they were farmers manufacturers or jailbirdsIN the election of 1828 there is no way that I would be caught voting for John Quincy Adams This was the man who had bargained for his presidency in 1824 He set forth a horrible example for the upcoming youths In a way it could be said that he cheated because Jackson definitely had a better chance of winningAndrew Jackson demanded prompt and loyal support He would not let anyone walk over him And because of his strong ideas he ignored Supreme Court He was trying to do what was best for us He wanted to preserve our country As he said at the Jefferson Day Banquet to John Calhoun Our Union It must be preservedFor all of those reasons I would be ignorant not to vote for Andrew Jackson as my president He always had his people on his mind Andrew Jackson was the best man for the job
