When I think about the lessons I have learned in my short life it is difficult to decide which is the most important There are a lot of things that have had a great influence in my life But there is one and just one that changed my life It happened when I was twelve years old starting middle school It was my first year and I was scared about it but everything changed when I received that letter Since I was in kindergarten I was a responsible student I always did my homework and had straight As in all my subjects Of course my mother had a great influence on it she nurtured me excellent habits and taught me how to organize my time My mother always supported me on every obstacle I had at first she helped me a lot As I grew up I decided it was my turn to be responsible by ownThree years went by and later I entered to elementary school I loved it at first but then I realized it was way more difficult than kindergarten The first years were a bit difficult considering the extreme load of homework I had to do every day I made a great effort to keep getting good grades and eventually I did I felt very proud of myself and my parents were proud of me too By the end of sixth grade I had managed to have excellent grades just by my own But for one reason I didnt feel completely satisfied I felt empty on the inside I started to think that all my work for all those years was worthless that those grades didnt really mean anything I thought that having good or bad grades didnt make a difference at all in a persons life that I wasted my time studying and I started middle school with that mentality The second day of school I received a letter saying
