As I look at this picture it makes me think about how a life of a person and their surrounding could change without even realizing and then I think about how all this time I havent noticed the change until I have seen this picture and then I think about the coming days and the hidden changes thats going to be surrounding meThe smile on their faces and the gathering that I dont only see in the picture but feel inside of me I really do miss it I come from a family who loves gathering and had a specific day every week to all meet up and you would see all the adults squeezed up in the living room sharing stuff and laughing and talking while from the window you could see all the kids running and playing around Since I was a child I always waited all the week for this day it was different than any other day even most of the pictures of my family and me was always taken in this specific day However the different thing about this picture is that this picture was taken on the last gathering before I left my home country in the picture we are all smiling but when I go black to the flash back of that moment I remember how the day went from goodbye tears to happy smiles I can say now that the most thing I miss about my country is those Thursday family gathering where it started from the different cultural meals that each group of the family will bring the gossips and the children laughter and noise until the last moment of late goodbyes and childrens crying not wanting to leave I wont lie I was one of the crying group wishing we could all have a sleep overThursday is a special day to my heart and seeing this picture explains the feeling of emptiness like there was
