Bridget's feedback:
"You are off to a good start with this review. It's clear you've read the novel closely and gotten to know the plot, the characters, and the ideas; this makes the reader trust your recommendation to read the book at the end of the review. To get deeper into your analysis, I would suggest taking another look at the elements that create mood. Right now, you locate this in "plot" but your discussion covers more specific devices, like character, conflict, dramatic irony, and foreshadowing. Exploring those with your reader will help them understand the way the mood is created. I would also suggest some attention to presentation. First, there were enough errors or similar issues (punctuation) that got in the way of clarity. I would also suggest breaking up your long first paragraph into two paragraphs to avoid overwhelming the reader. Use an initial introduction to guide the reader into your paper; then, you can start giving them the details."
