What book is Jenna reading this week for her book report Well she is doing Lord of the Flies by William Golding This book was about how a group of boys were trying to leave Britain during the war and their plane crashed into a deserted island and they were struggling to survive Ralph was the chief in the beginning but Jack was the obvious chief in the endIn the beginning of the book the boys emerge from the remains from the plane to find Ralph and Piggy already out and Ralph blowing the conch Once everyone got together and Piggy took their names it was unanimous that Ralph would become the chief The boys then decided to divide into groups to hunt make a fire and build the shelters Everyone chose their groups but in the end only Ralph and Simon were stuck building the sheltersWhen the boys didnt get their way with Ralph they went to Jack and he gave them what they had wanted making Jack the favorite older boy Everyone chose to be on Jacks side except Piggy and Simon which eventually die Once Ralph realized that he had no power over the group he was furious with Jack In the end when they were rescued Simon were dead and all the other boys had gone psycho Ralph was the only clear minded boy left My opinion of this book you ask Well this book was pretty good but it wasnt my favorite This book just isnt my type I liked Piggy he was my favorite character He was the most clear minded person thereAnother reason this book wasnt my favorite was because it didnt really relate to my life or holds my attention I liked the end though and how everyone was rescued except well Piggy and Simon This book overall was good just not for meTo summarize my report this book was okay but it wasnt my favorite
