A Rose for Emily is a story that its point of view is important I do not think that they always made the best chose of which point of view it was in However the point of view if they only wanted one point of view instead of two then I think they picked a good point of view The point of view for A Rose for Emily was told from the towns people point of view The point of view for section I was told by the towns people This section could not be told by anyone else in the story The reason is because in section one the main character Emily is dead so she cannot tell the story Also Emily family is dead therefore the only people left to tell it was the towns people The towns people talked about how Emily didnt have to pay taxes after her father diedIn section II the narrator talks about a time when the towns people smelled an odor coming from Emilys house The odor coming from her house turned out to be her fathers corpse Emily could not let go of her father so she could believe that her father was dead even the in fact he was If this part was told by Emily then the reader might have read her talk about memories of her father Another possibility is that she would be doing things with her father even though he is dead and the reader would not know he was dead till the towns people told her she had to barring himIn section III the narrator writes about the summer after the father died Emily met a man that was below her familys standards The towns people saw the relation progress and did not approve The reader may have enjoyed this section more if it was told my Emily If Emily had told this section then the reader would have been
