There was really only one childhood game that I really ever played because there were only about 2 or 3 kids that lived around me The one game we played all the time was called manhunt We all didnt really start playing this till we were in middle school Once we started playing it we played it all the time We played it usually one or two times every weekend The game started after a couple of us went to a birthday party and once it started getting dark out a couple of people said they wanted to play manhunt and a bunch of us did not know what it was So they explained it to us and we started to play and it turned out to be a lot of fun How they explained it to us was that it pretty much was hide-and-seek in the dark How you play is you dived up into two teams one team hides and the other one seeks There is almost always more hider than seekers The hiders go out and hide and the seekers sit and wait awhile while they hide Then the seekers would go and look for the people hiding and then once they found them they would have to chase them and try to tag them The point of the game was try to get back to base without being tagged If you were tagged then that meant that you had to be one of the seekers the next round There really is not a winner or a loser because you just keep playing until you get tired and want to stop After that night we decided to play it every now and then during the summer and we began to really like it and we started to invite more of our friend to come and play Then we started to play it almost every night during the summer and more and more
