Eustace Diamonds The Eustace Diamonds is a novel from a series of novels called the Pallisher novels Thisnovel is about love truth hate and possession The main character in this novel is LizzieGreystock who beccomes Lady Eustace after marrying Sir Florian Eustace Lizzie when she wasyoung was decorated with gems and jewels After her father died she moved in with her aunt LadyLinlithgrow whom Lizzie hated It wasnt Lady Linlithgrow who was the witch it was Lizzie She always had to have her way After living with her for a while Lizzie met Sir Florian Hewas a rich man He owned many estates across Europe and the Eustace diamonds were in hisgrasp They were worth 10000Ibs and Lizie was looking forward to having them when he dieswhich wouldnt be long She didnt marry him for who he was she married him for his wealth Just before he died she said that he gave her the diamonds but according to Mr Camperdown theEustaces lawyer she stole them she had so far played her game well and had won herstakespg9 Mr Camperdown tried his best to get the diamonds back but she kept refusing She meta new love named Lord Fawn She actually loved him for who he was When he found out that thejewels were wanted by the lawyer he wanted for her to give them back She refused so he leftfor Scotland until she gave them back Since he left she ended their engagement After shethought about it she said about Lord Fawn Is there anything in him that a woman could loveIs he not a poor social stick-a bit of half dead wood good to make a post of I did want apost so sorely then I dont see whypg288 She then left to her inherited castlePotraycastle to escape the commotion of the diamonds She felt overwhelmed by people staring at herfor they new of her and the diamonds She ends up
