It was the summer of 95 a beautiful day the sky was blue with not a cloud in sight The aroma of barbeque filled the air As I sat under the towering tree playing with my friends I heard ear-splitting sound of my brother screaming my name as he approached me Mommy said its time to go inside he said Being the stubborn child I was I started to yell back at him to go away Angered by my manner he began to tugged at my arm infuriated I slapped him across the face so hard I could see my tiny little fingerprints imprinted upon his cheeks In that moment fear took ahold of my body The beads of sweat began to arise from my forehead as his jaws began to tighten and his eyes threw flame darts at me I bolted towards the house with him following closely behind like a raging bull Upon entering the house I quickly slammed the shut behind me and braced up against it for dear life The world I knew came crumbling down when I felt the powerful force of my brother busting through the door With not a second to spare the door collided head on into my face I heard the shredding sound of my flesh separating as the sharp object attached to the door punctured my skin Warm streams of blood began flowing down my nose I howled out in excruciating pain but for the first few seconds there was no sound My body began to uncontrollable and then I collapsed unto the concrete floor unconscious I woke up a couple hours later in a hospital bed dazed and confused
