Adolf Hitler a German dictator whose power resulted in the losses of millions rose to power on 1919 His rise to power were based upon multiple long-term factors such as deep resentment in the German people the weakness of the Weimar system in which he benefited through propaganda the wrath and terror of his stormtroopers and the phenomenon of his speeches But when the Great Depression ruined their lives they voted for him in as his voters increased in numbers Needing support and thinking they could manipulate Hitler President Hindenburg made this grief mistake on January 1933 of giving Hitler the post of Chancellor which consequently led to his rise in powerOne of the most important factors that played a major role in the rise to Hitlers power was the Treaty of Versailles Germans were in the opinion that the rigorous conditions imposed on them were by the treaty Hitler disregarded the Treaty of Versailles In his book Mein Kampf he states regarding the Treaty of Versailles The greatest villainy of the century and called the German politicians who signed it criminals The leaders of the allies established this treaty in order to deliberately take revenge and weaken Germany The treaty consisted of significant parts that would be Germanys nightmare The first part was to weaken and take revenge on Germany therefore leading to a long term effect which resulted in Germany to obey the treaties rules The most significant and humiliating part of the treaty was the War Guilt Clause The clause implied that Germany had to accept all the blame for World War I and the starting of it However Germany felt this was unfair to them since they hadnt started the war Nevertheless Germany had to accept the blames and the starting of the war The third part of the treaty was importance of reparations A significant factor which led to long term effect one which the total collateral damage caused by
