January 16 2000 As a political science student I found much of the information in the first session to be of utmost interest One thing that I learned was that the strong feeling of hatred towards the Jewish populace dated back way before Hitler was even born This was very interesting to me because in a recent politics course I was told that the main reasons for Hitlers hatred towards the Jewish people was that he was the bastard child of a Jewish man and he was rejected from a Jewish art school Another thing I found interesting was that the Jewish people were blamed for the killing of Christ Even being a Christian I have never heard of such a thing before Finally as I read the articles from the treaty of Versailles Articles 231 235 I felt a great deal of empathy with the Germans These two particular articles caused a great deal of anger towards the allies as well as an enormous economic strain on the people of Germany I can see how in these pressing times a man such as Hitler could rise to power and have nobody question his ideals January 23 2000 After reading The Teacher I felt a great deal of empathy towards the Jewish boy in the story To think of how much torment the Jewish people had to deal with is unbelievable I was also sickened at the fact that Hitler not only had the adults brainwashed but he had the children as well I could not imagine sitting through a lecture about Jewish people or any people for that matter the way those children in the class did As I reviewed the web site wwwus-israelorgjsourceHolocaustnurlawshtm I found it interesting that not only did they not allow Jewish people to have sex or marry Germans but they also made it a law that Jewish people could not employee German females
