Over the past century humans have started to depend more and more on fossil fuels This is a good and bad at the same time But this can result in the warming of the earth I believe that we should use natural gas to run our cars Natural gas well reduces the amount of pollution that enters our air by 20 Using natural gas well also benefit our economy because of the vast amount of natural gas in North America The extraction of natural gas is also more earth friendly than the extraction of gasoline Natural gasses can release the hold fossil fuels have on our everyday life by giving us a cleaner more renewable resource and lessen our worries of greenhouse gases Greenhouses gases are gases that surround the earth and trap in heat Scientists say that this will lead to issues like the warming of the earth and the melting of the glaciers causing the water levels to rise We can reduce the amount of greenhouse gases in the earths atmosphere by using alternative sources to run our cars on While it might be best to use electricity it may not be the most efficient So I think that natural gas would be the next best thing Natural gas is cheap and very reliable You can tweak your car up a bit with some extra parts and it would run on natural gas and will only cost you little less than a thousand dollars We also have an abundant supply of natural gas Canada only has natural gas that can last us 130 years By using natural gas to run our cars on we will reduce the co2 emissions by 20 compared to gasoline cars There are about 22 million cars in Canada and if every car produced 20 less emissions the amount of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere will dramatically drop There are 250000 natural gas cars in Canada so why
