Advertising these days relies heavily on sex and sex appeal There is way too much sexual content and half naked bodies in the advertisements of today It almost seems that every product today has at least one advertisement that is related to sex in one way or another The thing that is the most shocking is the fact that no one really is taken back by it Instead most people just look at these advertisements and carry on with his or her life thinking nothing of it The others who just dont look at it and move on look at them and want to see more sexual ads because society nowadays is slowly becoming driven by sex amongst other things As for advertising there are a few reasons why advertising is being dominated by sex The main reason sex pops up in many advertisements is for the simple reason that people like viewing the opposite sex in sexual ways Its just human nature most men like sex and most women like sex From the advertisers point of view if they could put an image of sex in ones head and that person likes sex then there is a chance that the product will make the consumer feel good hence the consumer could possibly go out and buy the certain product strictly based on the advertisement he or she saw Advertisers have a tendency to play with people senses so why not tempt the projective consumer with one of the most sensual things in the world sex More often than not men enjoy looking at the opposite sex in sexual more than women do So naturally sex is more commonly used in products that are targeted more to men However now and then women have a wild side where they need to see a young handsome man with a muscular body and no tee shirt from time to time For the most part everyone
