God is non-existent all that happens in life is a coincident these are words of an Atheist Well because of life experiences I believe there is a God and he does have plans for everyone Growing up in Haiti a place with deficiencies in all aspects of life moving to a country of the complete opposite and noticing all occurrences in life are in alignment led me to believe a Greater Force with a certain purpose was in control Nothing in life is coincidental Everything positive that occurred or is occurring had to be Gods plan and His alone even the hard times in life God chose to allow struggles and pain to occur so he can mold individuals to who they need to be to perform their purposeMy father left my mother my sister a newborn and I to travel to America when I was at the age of two The image of him turning his back on us is still in my remembrance His absence left mother as our main caretaker Often times she struggled so our grandparents had to takeover Mother did her best but ultimately my grandparents raised us Life in Haiti was very different than many are familiar with We all meaning my whole family lived together in a two-room house A two-room house was able to hold my two aunts two uncles and grandparents along with mom my younger sister Cynthia and I Both water and food were contaminated The beach was often used as waste disposer My social life with my peers was unstable I was frequently teased for my condition of strabismus the medical term for crossed eyes Strabismus affected my esteem which led me to become very self-conscious Doctors informed grandmother of harmful effects Strabismus may cause Haiti lacks medical assistance so no action was accomplished America was my only option for treatment My family had economic deficiency which forced me to remain with Strabismus
