George Orwell discusses in his article politics and the English language that the written English language is being driven into the wrong path by some bad English writing habits such as useless words and dying metaphors he want to persuade readers into acknowledging the problem he presented and act accordingly to his solutions Georges intended audience are people who speak the same language as him and recognize his efforts to point out whats demolishing the English language and also people who would want to learn more about the better ways of writing people who need to aware about this problem Being a political writer himself George Orwell argued that politics and language are to main issues that should be combined carefully for the public to have better statements and explanations of the current situation This political language has to consist largely of euphemism question-begging and sheer cloudy vagueness Orwell 211 In Politics and the English language George Orwell efficiently uses Illustration Comparison and stating credentials to describe the different types of bad writing habits and the different solutions provided In his article George Orwell tends to use examples of words and phrases that he believes to really have a negative effect on the English language he has done that by referring to essays from other books and critically analyze them to his readers By referring of quotes and phrases George Orwell was effectively able to explain to his readers what some mistakes are and by critically analyzing them he was capable of reaching to his audience and expressing his thought on whats right and wrong about the written language With examples and notes George Orwell pointed out main points and tricks to warn his audience by appealing to their logic about those mistakes and how to avoid them such as dying metaphors and meaningless words he then carried out multiple examples for each mistake to have the audience understand the problem as if theyre also
