"Your essay has a lot of good broad ideas about the difference between generations and what causes young people to abandon tradition. However, the essay largely stays on those broad topics, making generalized statements about human nature. There is very little specific support for the larger ideas you express, and those ideas are not developed. Think about what your thesis statement is and come up with four or five specific points to support it. Each of those points should have a body paragraph that has some support from the text. Make sure you give some context to the quote you use in your introduction as well."
