My Fainting Fiasco At Pathmark It was not the first time I had fainted but it sure was the most memorable It was a beautiful day in mid December I was in third grade and I was very excited because Christmas vacation was coming up The only problem was that I had not been feeling so well for the past couple of days so my mother made an appointment with the doctor for that afternoon It was like any other check up and Dr Karana told me to take antibiotics because she thought I had the flu So off my mother and I went to Pathmark to pick up the medicine When we arrived at Pathmark we were informed that the medicine would not be ready for at least 20 minutes My mother said we would do a little food shopping until then We picked up the necessities and headed for the checkout line As we waited on line I began to notice little black fuzzy dots appearing before my very eyes The last thing I can remember is saying Mom I dont feel so well When I awoke I was lying on the floor with my head resting on something soft I heard people talking and when my vision came into focus I realized they were all gathered around me A frail old woman was standing right above me with an exquisite crystal like rosary hanging from her hands I could not believe she was praying for me In the distance I heard the sirens of an ambulance approaching The sound scared me because I always associated that sound with death Since I was lying on the floor I felt the vibrations of everyones footsteps All at once I felt rumbling like a herd of elephants were approaching The EMTs came up to me and asked if I thought I felt strong enough to get onto the gurney by myself Unfortunately I
