The Grand Theft Auto series is one that has gotten its fair share of negative feedback from the global community for the sexist views the game shows From having hookers on the street corners to actually running them over for a mission the game has its fair share of not too friendly views from many stand points In the article GTA V may not be misogynist but supporters are Rob Fahey explains how Grand Theft Auto 5 is getting free PR for this attack on the game While the game play hasnt changed much the story line has evolved with every game made It also is still extremely entertaining Grand Theft Auto has been able to deliver mind blowing storylines for many years now Its the main reason people keep buying the games Not to mention the amazing graphics it produces game after game In the first paragraph Fahey says dumb politicians and even dumber lawyers have always been on top to throw fuel on the fire In this example he uses the logical fallacy of Ad Hominem which means To the Man Here he attacks the politicians and lawyers on always sticking their noses into other peoples business These people are only doing their jobs The politicians are there to get the laws in place that the people want for their states If they dont like what the video game is representing its their job to act on it and get a law in place to protect the citizens For the lawyer its their livelihood to go to court and fight cases for whoever hires them So to fight for them is just doing business The use of Ad Misericordiam to the Pity is used in paragraph eight Fahey is quoted saying Sarkeesians academic work on the depiction of women in games is imperfect but thats not the problem these aggressive man-children have with it The gamers are mad about all of the
