Bridget's feedback:
"You bring up a lot of interesting points about this poem, and the mix of evidence and personal opinion makes this an engaging exploration of the text on a few different levels. The format and voice do make me question the paper's purpose or genre, and whether this should be built out into a single analytical essay (in which case the section headings should be eliminated in favor of more evident connective transitions and organization) or if this reflective, almost journal entry-like, approach matches with the assignment parameters. Before you take any next steps, I do recommend, then, just double-checking the prompt or similar guidance to ensure you are meeting those demands.
Whatever direction this ultimately goes in, I do recommend some revision at the sentence level; the writing in the overview section feels a little less steady than the opening -- focus on punctuation, sentence variety, and sentence boundaries. Similarly, the analysis of the commentary section reads as a little less nuanced than earlier discussion; consider first spending a bit more time with the second half of the paper."
