If I were to be crowned ruler of my perfect utopia things would be very civilized and everyone would gave say in their own decisions But according to The Tempest Shakespeare creates a barren and prohibitive island in order to rule his man kind because he believes the nature of man is evil Prospero the ruler of the island controls this utopia by placing a strict barrier around the island to maintain control Whereas if I ruled my utopia everyone would voice there opinion therefore creating the island to become a democracy On Prosperos island there are very few people existing To have a successful utopia I believe that the island should be densely populated There are many responsibilities on the island so if there were to be a greater population the jobs on the island would be distributed and the work would run smoothly On my utopia there would be no such thing as a slave or servant Everyone would be created and treated equally To begin if Prosperos wishes for Miranda to be a well-rounded young lady he needs to not isolate her from the rest of the world He needs to share his knowledge with her and let her explore for herself If she were able to leave the island or have some kind of interaction with other people she would from up as a creative self-minded person If Prospero continues to isolate her as he is and for some reason she is to leave the island she will have no experience in the real world If I were to be the ruled of my utopia there would be extreme contact between the islanders and outside civilization This would able the island to keep up with the times People would be able to think for themselves and handle everyday responsibilities If Miranda had been introduced to other males in her life she wouldnt have fallen for Ferdinand so quickly She would
