ny font the determinism and liberterarian debate starts off with the issue of moral responsaibility and how it has been felt to attach to the free will issue the argument for determinism against libertarianism is that outside events are caused versus being uncaused and that leaves the agent to be the sole cause because the free act is an uncaused act the first point of moral free dom is how it pertains not to overt acts but to inner acts the self is only part author of the act the social and material envoirnment that determines wheather or not we are to make allowances for the victim of the selfs dimineshed moral responsibility due to bad heridity ie genes morals values andor vicious living conditions only the man who is solely the author can be praised or blamed and as we see it is not enough that he wills or chooses the act or simply acts out of his own nature which necessitates it in which he could have acted otherwise or if he had been placed in different circumstances the objection we have to this is to look at the persons character and the we are able to sort out what type of man he is from our knowledge of this implicit behaivor we are subject to an illusion if we think that the power of our own thoughts determines choice determinist which leads most people to doubt the reality of moral responsibility this brings us to the cetral point of the great free will debate are we really blameworthy If dont have volition qand are mostly subjugated to outside causes and factors free will i think is like this that outside causal factors do not play a role in deciding our moral predicate and have the exception of only providing the amount of decisions that we are faced with That freewill is basically to our advantage and is the main determinent to all
