The novel Anthem by Ayn Rand tells the story about one character in the story named Equality 7-2521 an individual living in a collective society of human individuality In a place where there is no science love and everyone is equal in one person Equality 7-2521 began his life in a Home of Infants and was educated in the Home of Students he was excellent in his schoolwork but he was punished for his achievements because he cant choose his own profession so the council assigned him to profession of Street sweeper Equality accepted this as his punishment for desiring one profession Equality worked as a street sweeper while he was working on his first day he found an underground tunnel He spent a lot of time in that tunnel studying stolen manuscripts and learning about individualistic society that had disappeared Then Equality 7-2521 discovers the electricity and becomes a revolutionary concept in his and the council of scholars minds when Equality 7-2521 took his discovery to the World Council of Scholars the councils rejected them because he is not allow to do anything else as cleaning the streets So Equality 7-2521 ran away into the Uncharted Forest where he found Liberty 5-3000 together they found a house in the forest and established there then Equality 7-2521 found books in the house and by reading books he rediscovers a great lost word I Equality 7-2521 had violated the rule of his culture and fell in love with Liberty 5-3000 Equality 7-2521 had learned about the ideas values and feelings of a person and found the importance on a human individuality Equality 7-2521 and Liberty 5-3000 took the names Prometheus and Gaea They found a home and Prometheus vowed that he would keep it just for them and not to share with anyone else so he built a electric fence to keep others away In Equalitys world individuality had disappeared and everything was
