I read the Fellowship of the Rings by J R R Tolkien It is the first book of the trilogy of the Lord of the Rings which is actually a sequel to an earlier book by Tolkien called the Hobbit Each book elaborates on the tale of this almighty powerful ring The book the Hobbit tells the story of how the ring first comes into the hands of this hobbit named Bilbo A hobbit is the name of a creature of smaller stature of man who prospers in the lands around him Bilbo doesnt know it but this ring has this power within that gives mastery over every living creature yet would corrupt anyone who attempted to use it All Bilbo knows is that when he puts it on it makes him invisible and keeps him from aging outwardly The Fellowship of the Ring reintroduces the hobbit Bilbo as well as the noble wizard Gandalf and the ring A lot of time has passed since Bilbo first found the ring and here he uses it his last time to take leave from his homeland of the Shire unexpectedly using its power of invisibility while throwing his own birthday party Gandalf the wizard convinces Bilbo to leave the ring behind to his nephew Frodo before he actually leaves for good and thus the dark history of the ring is unfolded Gandalf shares with Frodo the history of the ring of how the wielder is given ultimate power and its the ONE ring the Master of all the Rings of Power Read insert in book Anyways Sauron a dark lord and bringer of destruction is searching for it endlessly The ring is ancient and was ripped from Sauron many generations before only to be lost by the victors This is when it is retrieved by a wretched being named Gollum and just by an unexpected coincidence obtained by Bilbo A war in search of the ring is
