Bridget's feedback:
"I appreciated your thoughtful, step-by-step approach to the question. This allows you to take the reader down avenues that open up new questions, and your writing is lucid enough to pull this off. I do notice occasional minor errors: a careful proofread should be used to catch these and ensure clarity at every moment (e.g., a comma splice in the first sentence).
In the interest of bringing forward your analytical framework and ethos, I recommend more rigorous use of signal phrases to avoid taking things for granted. This will also help integrate all quotes into your text, demonstrating control.
While you don't need to draw a hard conclusion, the last sentence doesn't serve the earlier discussion very well. I recommend ending on a stronger note--maybe even the current second-to-last sentence. The current last sentence may work better as the first sentence of that last paragraph. As a final note, I am curious if you should reintroduce and further explore your opening conceit regarding God, which is currently confined to the hook."
