"This is an interesting look at the early days of chat rooms. You point out some interesting trends that have continued to develop.

You make some broad assertions that come across as dubious. For example, you state that generalizations about people in chatrooms are "wholly accurate" and that real hackers don't get caught. These points are easy to argue against and should either be supported or reworked.

Your introduction and conclusion have to do with the quality of time spent in chat rooms. However, your body paragraphs don't address that issue much. Your conclusion states your support of using chat rooms. Why do you think they're a good influence? Your body paragraphs should reflect what you gained from using them.

Some of the tone of this essay comes across as sarcastic and judgmental. This can undermine your credibility in an academic paper and should be re-thought."
