The Princess Bride The Princess Bride is a fairytale movie directed by Rob Reiner in 1987 Like most movies it was based on a book which in this case it was written by William Goldman Rob Reiner and William Goldman did a phenomenal job turning this medieval fairytale book into a movie that would soon be enjoyed by many people for many of years The actors and actresses they selected all played their role perfectly Some of the better actors and actresses were Cary Elwes as Westley Robin Wright as Princess Buttercup Mandy Patinkin as Inigo Montoya and Andre the Giant as Fezzik Those four performers made some of the funniest and most enjoyable scenes to watch The three scenes that I thought were the best stared the characters Westly Princess Buttercup Inigo Montoya and Fezzik One scene was when Princess Buttercup was suppose to be getting married to Prince Humperdink in twelve days but she does not love him because she was in love with Westly who is her long lost love Inigo Montoya Fezzik and their leader Vizzini then kidnap her They sailed off with Princess Buttercup to a mountain and then soon realized that they had been followed The man who followed battled with Inigo Montoya Fezzik and Vizzini but he only killed Vizzini Princess Buttercup soon realized that the person who followed them was Westley The Princess can not believe that Westley has came for her because she though he had died at sea It was not each individual scene that intrigued me I enjoyed the plot of the movie The movie started with a young boy who was ill and his grandfather comes to read him a book Of course the book he began to read is The Princess Bride He started to read the book and then the screen gets bright and soon the fairytale begins Throughout the movie the frames
