Imagine life where a fourteen year old teenager never aged or matured but there was a portrait of himself that did age and mature by the way he lived his life What would life be like A person could only know if he were actually in this situation So how would this situation affect his life Life would be exciting for him at first He would enjoy the exhilaration of staying young forever and doing the things he wanted to do but he would soon face the consequences of this rigorous lifestyle Firstly this situation would affect him physically He would no longer age and he would truly be forever young Even though this might seem marvelous it certainly is not He might have the benefits of looking young and fresh but being young is not always an advantage He would not be able to find a serious job because of how young he is people would not take him seriously He would not gain respect from people because he is young and immature He would have to hide his portrait in shame The portrait should be a resemblance of his successes and it should be something to be proud of but every mistake he has made is a mark on his aging portrait He would wish that he never had the portraitSecondly this situation would affect him emotionally He would not mature but forever act in a fourteen year olds mentality This would make him angry and closed-off never wanting to build relationships with anyone because he knows they will grow up and move on without him It could also make him feel depressed watching friends and family grow and mature and he would constantly repeat the same steps His life would never go anywhere This could affect the way he feels about himself or how he feels about other people He has to face the fact that he can never go to
