The Behaviors of Multinational Corporations to the Acts of Bribery and Corruption in the International Level

This is a research paper written about international trade and international trade law. More specifically, the author writes about the behavior of multinational corporations regarding bribery and corruption. The author discussed how Canadian legislation and the United Nations Convention on Corruption condemn such actions, but this is not enough to make a lasting change. This article's largest corporations are Wal-Mart, Exxon Mobile, Toyota, and General Electric. The author highlights the related legislation as the United Nations Convention Against Corruption and the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act. Two specific instances of bribery that the author writes about are Wal-Mart with Mexico, India, and China and Johnson and Johnson with European doctors in Greece and Romania.
