Is colonization the cause of the clash and inconvenience in Africa Olivia asks It just makes you think what would have become of Africa had Europe not interfered She predict it optimistically there would have been no quarrel but development like all the other developed continents Sudan was one of the African countries distressed by the cause of colonization The people lost their identity and what they stood for Thus they began to battle against each other for absolute power resource and money Finally Sudan became two nations South Sudan and North Sudan on February 7th 2011 As hard as it is to believe that splitting is a solution the two parts of Sudan are better off without each other for several major reasonsThe domination and conflict of the Northern Sudanese against the Southern Sudanese lasted for decades causing civilians death and sufferance consequently they were split According to BBC news the Sudan governments army who were originally from the Northern Sudan attacked the Southern Sudan frequently in the 1990s Since then about 12m people died and Sudans economy was in a huge crisis from the civil war Yet the Southern Sudan was the one experiencing the most devastating part of the problem They were undeveloped and were not able to have the chance to work and bring them back to life There was peace agreements occurred between the two parts of the country which were broken many times before A peace agreement in 1972 ended the first civil war after independence and made some movement towards federalism However tensions between the authorities in Khartoum and those in the Southern region and divisions between different groups of southerners led to further outbreaks of violence in the early 1980sBBC Not one but breaking several peace agreements made the situation worse and civilian kept on dyeing However after the last peace agreement made over the civil war between them there have been some improvements
