So it is really late at night and you are over at your boyfriend or girlfriends dorm room Seeing that it is so late you decide to stay the night As you wake up the next morning and slowly walk to your car you notice a little yellow envelope wedged between your windshield and wiper As you get next to your windshield you remove the little yellow envelope only to find that you have been issued a parking ticket for either parking in the wrong spot or not having a proper parking sticker Of course you are very ill at the amount you have to pay but if one would stop and think about it these yellow envelopes we know as parking tickets are very important and completely necessary for the college These parking tickets assure people who actually pay for their parking stickers a place to park they keep people who dont belong on campus out of sight and finally they are a good source of income for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte First with some research I found that it is approximately one hundred and eighty dollars to park on campus per year One may think that this is a large amount of money but when one thinks of the time and energy one saves just going to class the money seems well worth it Without parking tickets the campus parking lots and parking decks would be flooded with people who neglected to purchase a parking sticker and are just trying to save time energy and the most important thing money On the other hand since there is a fear of getting a parking ticket most people choose not to park on campus if they are without a parking sticker This makes sense because these parking tickets are not very cheap when one is issued to you These tickets may range from anywhere from forty dollars for parking in a regular
