Im the type of person who is willing to take risks and experience things I never did throughout my life Achieving the goals I set is essential to me During my teen years I had set some goals to achieve and succeeded to undertake them I also took a lot of risks and experienced different things in different places around the world that changed my life One of the significant experiences that I had was my trip to the US by myself for the first time to join an IB camp at Stanford University It was a short trip of 28 days however day after day I was experiencing new things and learning material that influenced my life and the way I see thingsBefore leaving Kuwait I was the type of guy that depends on his family I didnt see my self as someone that could live alone Amazingly my expectations were wrong when I went to the US alone I learned a lot of things that entirely changed the way I live Travelling alone taught me a lot and introduced me to things I never knew about First of all being social and bonding with people from diverse places around the world Here in Kuwait most of the people you communicate with are Arabs so basically were all the same however at the camp we were about 40 students and almost no one was similar I got to make friends and learn about other peoples traditions and cultures I started learning new languages and different ways of thinking In other words I got out of the box Second of all responsibility became my best friend Unlike back home I learned what is the true meaning of responsibility I had to take care of my self and do everything by myself without the help of others Maybe it seems uneasy for some but actually responsibility is one of the most valuable things that I learned
