Ever broken a bone torn an ligament or had a cantelope leg I have all these have been injuries Ive sustained and worked through to be where Im at now Sometimes I never understand why I get these injuries Did I somehow make God angry by any chance Did I do something to deserve this All this goes through my head every time an injury happens Out of all my injuries my leg which happened to be as big as a cantelope seemed to have largest impact on my life now Not even physically but actually mentally overall the cantelope has had biggest impactIt all began first playoff game of my Junior season for high school football Westerville South my team was battling it off with Olentangy Liberty in a rivalry which has been there since conferences were adjusted two years ago Now that season we had beaten Olentangy Liberty pretty bad but we didnt want them to get a second chance for victory though To start off the game I catch a 54 yard pass unfortunately was caught before I could score My speed wasnt up to par because before the season I fractured my L3 vertabrae causing for two months of rest and only two weeks of practice before I started in first game of the season With that great start to the game we start rolling over the team eventually going into halftime with a 21 point lead Now at that point for some odd reason my leg was really hurting I talked to Doc our trainer and told him I couldnt remember why my leg was hurting like I didnt remember a specific hit that could have hurt my leg All I know was thinking in my mind that Im okay its just a bruise Now during halftime our coach we were going to go into formation where I was needed because typically I rotate with senior for playing time but
