Bridget's feedback:
"You've done a good job writing carefully and also engagingly on this topic. You will want to overview your formatting and proofread for minor issues, and make sure to check your style guide for punctuating around parenthetical citations--periods should come after the citation (like this). Because you are dealing with a controversial, murky topic, I suggest being even more up front with your references by naming them in the text itself. You've done a really good job keeping track of the sources as you go using the parenthetical citations. The reader understands that you have a body of research behind your claims. I will recommend also using signal phrases and similar to establish the sources' credentials within your own writing. While it is true that the reader can always check up on the sources in the works cited (not included here), anticipating their curiosity or desire to understand the nature of the source will help build credibility, ethos, and a more convincing argument."
