Its a lifestyle of fun where everyone is accepted no matter what your rave religion or sexuality preferences and its also an outlet for young people to ignore the problems around them Gail Robertson states from the Star Staff Newspaper in San Fransisco California That is no secret Gail has stated The rave scene is not trying to hide from people or cultures just advertised lifestyles where you are told what to do Raves like music are a global phenomenon that almost every culture celebrates and expressed by music Ravers just wanna have fun Like the Sorcerers Apprentice in Fantasia the Dj directs the flow of energy with controlled waves of sound Prancing like a high priest in front of dual turntables and a control panel whose desibal levels constantly violate the red line Frankie Bones introduced raves by throwing a series of big underground partys known as the Storm Raves Many promoters give Mr Bones credit as the founding of raves in America It was at one of these Storm Raves that Mr Bones gave a very important speech after one very powerful sets He explained what the scene was about peace love unity and respect When he finished everybody in the warehouse waved their hands in the air in complete unity For man the most beautiful speech anyone has ever heard All the old skool ravers still talk about frankies speech so much that PLUR became the set meaning for peace love unity and respect PLUR is now known by every raver acrost the globe Was it Frankie Bones that started this meaning Or was it the meaning of raves on the other side of the world before Many believe that the rave scene is now gone polluted by drugs and wanna bes but that doesnt stop us from trying to make it better heal the scars and maybe even someday actually come close to realizing the true power of PLUR its an
