The conversation behind him which was at a low roar for most of the time he was at the bar trailed off to non-existance Being no novice to the potential situations this would herald Reeve sharped his alertness as he scanned his surroundings for incoming trouble and found only the approaching dark skined patron who came to a stop on the right side of him He glared down at Reeve sizing him up His eyes skimming over Reeves more slender frame to the rather large puddle under his feet and snorted in disgust The elf reguarded the towering man from the corner of his eye You are in my seat The man declared with more than a measured degree of meanicing overtones in his voice Reeve not a cowardly rat simply looked down at the stool and the surrounding bar discerningly for a second then looked back up to the man and shrugged his shoulders I guess it aint your seat he replied cooly finishing the rest of the drink from the tumbler his eyes watching the man keenly whose face darkened into a scowl He stood there for a moment apparently waiting for the newcomer to gather his senses and move Reeve instead turned and set the tumbler on the bar bottom up and motioned to the barkeep for another The next thing he felt was a heavy hand to his chest as the man grabbed the front of his cloak and spun Reeve to face him Two men sitting a few seats away from Reeve one a burly middleaged brick of a man while the other a lankier and younger millitant had come to their feet and began to close distance quickly Ariah also was starting to stand glancing to one of the bouncers who was peering ahead in a disturbingly zombie like fashion as if the developing situation at the bar was miles away Listen you inbred daisey-eating fop
