Weddings There comes a time in our lives when we meet the right person fall in love get engaged and begin planning a wedding A wedding is a joyous event but requires a lot of decisions to be made by the bride and groom to ensure that it is a momentous period in their lives There are three significant parts to planning a wedding There are many steps and decisions to be made before during and after this treasured event Prior to the wedding you will have to determine whether your wedding will be a traditional contemporary or something unique A traditional wedding usually follows proper etiquette with little or no changes The contemporary wedding is more modern and usually specific to the taste of the bride and groom The unique wedding is strictly based on the personality of the couple anything goes and is easier to control the costs Each one of these wedding types has many steps and decisions but the main decision is who will foot the bill The grooms family normally gives the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception is the responsibility of the brides parents Sometimes the bridal couple along with both sets of parents split the costs The first important steps are to select the wedding director who will help you pull the event off within your budget At this point you should select the Maid of Honor or Matron of Honor and the Best Man to help you stay organized and on time with your plans Other major costs factors that have to be considered are the size of the wedding party the number of guests the wedding location the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception Probably the most fun time for the bride is in the wedding design selection where flowers candles invitations gowns and tuxedos are determined The color scheme is very important at this stage and will be dependent upon the attendants because
