Derailed The party was in bloom and my balance was unsteady from the amber fluid behind the yellow label named Kessler My eyes drooped and my speech sounded like it was being translated through a blender I went to my bedroom to pass out In the bedroom I leaned on a chair and boom the floor said hello As I picked myself of the floor Jeff asked What are you doing Going to bed came the matter of fact statement as I pulled off my sweater my eyes rolled back and I fell over stiff as a board I dont recall hitting the bed which was on the floor That was me on a typical Friday or Saturday night when I drank It all started back in my freshman year of college My suite mates and I wanted something to do on a Friday night and began drinking Up to this point I had never had a drink Feeling left out I cracked a beer and in that instance I bought ticket and boarded the Alcohol Express The train took off slowly as the bitter fluid flowed over my taste buds and fell into my stomach I dint like it much then but that would change At first I told myself only three beers a night That lasted for about one week then it was four then six then I m a grown man I can say enough is enough Beer was my first alcoholic beverage but not my last The train was on its way One day I entered a tunnel never to come out I decided to pledge a fraternity They introduced me to whiskey my demon The frats motto was IF YOU CANT DRINK WHISKEY FROM THE BOTTLE THEN YOURE NO ALPHA CHI RHO I took it to heart I drank whiskey in the morning before class if I went to class The bottle became mother father siblings and
