Maslows Hierarchy of Needs and Ethics Maslows hierarchy of needs is a diagram that explains in great detail every level of a persons needs These needs are true for everyone They may be used to better understand someone and may be incorporated into any situation I will attempt to incorporate Maslows findings into my business ethics program This may also be converted into something called the stages of organizational need It describes very well the different stages of customer satisfaction this is how I will incorporate Maslows teachings The basic organizational need is Core products and services that work This is the very most basic service that a salesman can offer a buyer If not the seller either is not going to market the product or is not a very honest or ethical person A salesman first duty in the way of ethics is to stand behind his products The second step is Reliable services associated with core products and services associated with core products and services This may be associated with the level of safety on Maslows hierarchy of needs This translates to the seller standing behind his products This is a major part of salesmanship known as customer satisfaction A seller should be open and willing to answer all questions about the product before and after the sale The next stage of need is Open two-way communication between the customer and essential buyer This stage associates with Maslows hierarchy of needs on a level of belongingness A seller or supplier must continue an ongoing relationship with the buyer They should make the buyer fee like they are not just a customer but also a friend If a customer feels like they belong to a good thing they will return time after time for the same great service and products The fourth level of need is Supplier-developed innovations This level of need requires the seller to develop a reputable status with
